Vice President for Institutional Advancement - La Roche College

La Roche College invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Founded in 1963, La Roche is an independent, co-educational Catholic, liberal arts institution located on a scenic 44-acre campus in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Under Sister Candace Introcaso’s presidential leadership, La Roche College has expanded its academic offerings, seen improvements in campus facilities, received increased private and government funding support, and been named one of the “Best Northeastern Colleges” by the Princeton Review for six consecutive years.

Working in partnership with the President, the Vice President for Institutional Advancement is the College’s chief development officer with responsibilities for the fund-raising activities across the College. The new Vice President for Institutional Advancement will be given the opportunity to build a comprehensive development program geared to take the level of fundraising at the College to new heights. The salary is competitive and the benefits are excellent.

The President is seeking a strong individual who is professionally active and possesses significant supervisory experience in the fundraising field, strong knowledge of current fundraising practices and systems in higher education, a proven track record in planning and implementing fundraising programs, and experience in establishing and working with a corps of volunteers.  The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, and have successful experience with comprehensive campaigns.
