Gannon University invites nominations and applications to serve as Director of the Dahlkemper School of Business.  The new Director will facilitate continued growth and development in the Dahlkemper School of Business in order to continue its longstanding tradition of excellence in educating talented and ethical business leaders. Gannon desires an individual with notable expertise in one or more cognate areas of business with preference given to the discipline of strategic management, and who has demonstrated experience with either ACBSP or AACSB accreditation. Gannon’s Dahlkemper School of Business continues to distinguish itself throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for its exceptional internship program as well as for excellent MBA and MPA programs offered at multiple regional sites. The new Director will champion the achievement of several strategic goals including the expansion of enrollment, building business-centered community development programs and the expansion of international opportunities for our students including internships and study-abroad opportunities.  The Director’s primary responsibility will be the administration of the School and will also serve as a faculty colleague assuring programs meet the needs and demands of Gannon students, the broader educational community, and society.

To be considered, qualified candidates must provide evidence of effective teaching and productive scholarship in their respective fields.  An appropriate doctoral degree is required (Ph.D./D.B.A.). Ideally, candidates will also have experience using course management systems for the purposes of instruction and advising. All applicants should indicate knowledge and experiences with pertinent accreditation and assessment activities required to meet ACBSP or AACSB standards in their letter of application.
