Felician College is seeking a strong advancement professional for its Vice President of Institutional Advancement position.  Felician is an independent co-educational Franciscan college with a total enrollment of over 2,000 students. Founded and sponsored by the Felician Sisters, the College’s mission is to provide a full complement of learning experiences designed to bring students to their highest potential and prepare them to meet the challenges of today. Felician features two locations in Lodi and Rutherford, New Jersey, only 15 minutes apart and within driving distance of New York City.

Working in partnership with a dynamic President, Anne Prisco, the Vice President is the College’s chief advancement officer with responsibilities for the friend- and fund-raising activities across the College. As one of the six vice presidents who report directly to the President, s/he will actively participate in senior-level decisions regarding College priorities and policies by serving on the President’s Executive Council.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Advancement professional who will be charged with identifying, cultivating and soliciting major donors to expand the College’s donor base, strengthening relationships with current and past donors, and increasing the position in the local and regional philanthropic community to raise funds in support of the College's immediate, short and long term needs.  The new Vice President will have oversight of the Advancement staff and be given the opportunity to build a comprehensive advancement program to take the fundraising at the College to new heights.

The Vice President for Institutional Advancement should have a knowledge of the local and regional philanthropic community, must be an experienced individual who is professionally active and possesses significant supervisory experience in the fundraising field, a strong knowledge of current fundraising practices and systems in higher education, a proven track record in planning and implementing fundraising programs, and experience in establishing and working with a corps of volunteers.  The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, have successful experience with comprehensive campaigns, the ability to represent a values-centered Catholic college, and work effectively internally and externally to promote the mission of the institution.
