Dean of the Division of Arts and Sciences
Rivier University is accepting applications for a Dean of the Division of Arts and Sciences. Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean will be an academic leader, have a record of developing academic programs, an understanding of current higher educational trends, skills in leading curriculum renewal projects, and a strong history in supporting enrollment growth. Founded by the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Rivier (Nashua, NH) is a Catholic, co-educational university offering undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees. Rivier University is recognized for its more than 60 degree programs serving the needs of both traditional and non-traditional students.
The Dean of Arts and Sciences must have an earned, terminal degree in a related discipline, prior service at the rank of full professor, record of success in academic program renewal, development, and implementation, with at least a five-year record of increasing responsibility in higher education, and an appreciation for the Catholic intellectual tradition.
